Challenge # 24 - Pink or Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to another JDE Inks and Such Challenge. Thank you to everyone who joined us last week. My name is Katya and I'm here hosting a challenge for the very first time. Can you believe JDE will be 6 months old next month? I'm so glad to be a part of a wonderful team! Okay, now our Inks and Such Challenge at JDE is to use any type of medium to add color to your image/s. This week we are asking everyone to please use the color PINK or the Breast Cancer Awareness theme. Chana along with a few other DT members will be donating $0.25 for Breast Cancer Research for every entry of our challenge this week.  And, If you enter here and at Mema's Craft, you will land a double punch against Breast Cancer.  Lesia,Mema's owner and JDE DT member,  is donating $10.00 for every 40 entries in her monthly challenge. What amazing gestures!

Help Us Defeat Breast Cancer

Our upcoming challenge on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 is Breast Cancer Awareness and we want your help!  May Family and I along with several JDE Designers have pledged to donate $.25 to Breast Cancer Research for every entry in our challenge this week.  We are not looking from money from you, just participation.  Your participation alone will help in the battle against this enemy of our bodies.

Please post a notice on your blog, encourage your crafty friends to join in.  We would like for you to use Pink or a BCA theme on your card.  But the truth is we just want as many entries as we can get.  With the current pledges, we stand at $1.25 per entry.

Here are some BCA Images that are Available at  Fine Arts By Robert Jackson if you do not have BCA awareness stamps or digis.  Some digi stores have free images.  It is not necessary to use a BCA image for the challenge, you can simply use the color pink in your project!

Jo Ann Atterbury

Hi everyone.  My name is Jo Ann and I am a happy Stay-at-home Mom to my son whose 7 years old and a wife to my husband, Joseph.  I was born and raised in the Philippines but after marriage, I came to San Antonio, Texas.   I love almost all kinds of crafting...Creating gives me a sense of fulfillment knowing that I give my best in everything I do.  After my son was born, I got into Scrapbooking to document my son’s growth.  Shortly after, I saw a magazine on Cardmaking and I was hooked.  I collected every tool available in the market, taught myself on different techniques and started giving only handmade cards to friends since 2007.  My biggest fan is my son who stays beside me each time I have a project.  I love it when he says,  “Mommy, you made the most beautiful card, ever!”  I love my family and thank God for them everyday…
